25th Anou State Level Chess tournament : RK Bhogen Singh clinch title

RK Bhogen clinched the title of the 25th Kh Anou Singh Memorial State Level Open Chess Tournament, organised by Kwakeithel Chess Club.
RK Bhogen Singh secured 8 points, Y Shankar Singh with 7.5 points claimed the runner's up title while O Ningthem Singh with 7.5 points bagged the third place.
A cash prize of Rs 25,000 along with a trophy were awarded to RK Bhogen while Y Shankar and O Ningthem Singh received Rs 18,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

L Atembi (4th), N Bankim (5th) and T Manikanta (6th) were awarded a cash prize of Rs 7000, Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively while L Lalgopal Sharma (7th), RK Appolosana (8th), A Binit Singh (9th), Kh Sanjoy (10th), P Chittaranjan Singh (11th) and S Premjit Singh (12th) received a cash reward of Rs 2000 each.
The Laishram Modhuchandra fair play award went to Ph Gopeshwar and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2,200 and a trophy.
L Kennedy Singh bagged the Laishram Dorendro Award for most promising player of the tournament.
He was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2000 along with a trophy.
In the KCC award for girls, Y Yaisana Devi clinched the best girl award while Nungshithoi Ng and Konalika Yumnam bagged the second and third position.
The 4th and 5th best girl awards went to A Ashakirani Devi and Aleena Kh.
Y Yaisana Devi received Rs 300 while the other winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 200 each.
In the Tiddim Steel and Cement award, N Yoihenba and Atom Alex clinched the best boy and second best boy awards.
They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 500 each.
The youngest player award went to Lanheiba Loitongbam while Y Kala was awarded the oldest player award of the tournament.
They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 500 each.
