Mumbai, September 19 2014 :
High on confidence and with a promise to deliver, Commonwealth Games silver medalist Devendro Singh is geared up to hurl a flurry of punches at his opponents in Incheon.
He has a simple goal - to win the gold in his event.
The World No.3, who lost to Northern Ireland's Paddy Barnes in a closely-fought 49kg final in Glasgow, believes losing was a learning experience and that he will try to go a step further in Incheon.

"I had given my best in Glasgow, but lost a very close bout in the final.
I have lost in the final once, I won't let that performance repeat," Devendro told TOI on the eve of team's departure for Incheon.
Boxing events are scheduled to begin from September 24."We have been training hard and I will try to give my best.
The focus has been on reading our competitors through video analysis and learning new techniques to counter them," he added.
Talking about top contenders, the former world No.1 said the competition will be very close.
"Asia has a very strong boxing talent and rankings do not make a difference," he said.
Devendro, who missed out on the World Championships due to an eye injury which he picked up during the selection trials, says the incident is behind him.
"It was an unfortunate incident.
It was the first time we were playing without the headgear.
Injuries are part of our sport.
I don't think too much on what has happened," he said.
Coach GS Sandhu said boxers from Kazakhstan and South Korea will pose tough challenge.
"Globalization of boxing has reduced the gap between top players.
Now, boxers are moving around and learning techniques so there is not much difference.
Kazakhstan and S Korea will be tough opponents.
In middleweight category, Japan is good," Sandhu said.
