Junior Girl's National Football Championship Manipur down Haryana, lift title

Imphal, July 17 2016:
Manipur emerged the champions of the Junior Girl's National Football Championship, organised by the All India Football Federation, today at Cuttack, Odisha.
In today's final match, Manipur downed Haryana by a margin of 4 goals to one.
A brace each from N Ratanbala (1st, 61st) and Y Hemolata (68th, 94th) gave the four winning goals.
On the other side, Haryana witnessed their lone goal through Nisha in the 16th minute.

It may be mentioned that in the earlier Group League round matches, Manipur outclassed Chhattisgarh by a margin of 12 goals to nil and in another match State eves thrashed Maharashtra 8-0 .
In the quarterfinal league round, Manipur clinched a convincing 12-0 victory against Jharkhand; Manipur blanked Odisha 3-0 and the State team crushed Goa 10-0 in the last quarterfinal league match.
In the semifinal, Manipur handed a crushing 6-0 defeat to Tamil Nadu.
AFC-A licence holder L Chaoba Devi and AFC-C licence holder S Manitombi represented as team coach and manager respectively in the championship.
