Manipur beat Sikkim to enter SFs; Jharkhand hold Railways

Manipur, Railways and West Bengal entered the semifinals of the ongoing 1st Rani Gaidinliu All India Women's Invitation Football Tournament, organised by the Zeliangrong Sporting Union (ZSU), today at Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
In the first match today, Jharkhand came from behind to hold Railways 2-2 .
The match began with Railways taking a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half after Pratima Minz and Ngoubi Devi scored a goal each in the 12th and 18th minute respectively.

After the breather, Jharkhand did not lose hope and went on attacking spree.
Their efforts were paid off after Dullar Marandi struck home a double in the 55th and 75th minute making the final scoreline 2-2 .
In another match today, Manipur overcame Sikkim by a margin of 2 goals to one.
Sikkim opened the goal account in the 24th minute after Anju Tamang found the target.
The first half ended with Sikkim taking a 1-0 lead.
Soon after the breather, E Bindyarani scored the equaliser for Manipur in the 46th minute.
It was N Ratanbala who scored the second goal of Manipur in the 83rd minute to seal the match 2-1 against their opponent.
Tomorrow, Bihar will play with Odisha.
