National School (U-17 girls football) : Manipur to meet Bihar, Tamil Nadu to play Haryana in semis

Imphal, December 08 2014:
Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Haryana cruised into the semi final of the ongoing 60th National School Games, 2014 (under-17 girls football), organised by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports under the aegis of School Games Federation of India at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal.
In the first quarter final match, Tamil Nadu overcame Maharashtra by a margin of 2 goals to one.
In the second quarter final, Manipur crushed Chandigarh by a margin of 8 goals to nil.

State girls, Ranjibala (16th, 30th) and Kashmina (18th, 24th) struck two goals each while Daya alone slotted in four goals in the 42nd, 65th, 67th and 68th minute against a hapless Chandigarh.
Bihar crushed Punjab 6-0 in the third quarter final match while in the fourth quarter final Haryana swamped Orissa by margin of 4 goals to nil.
Tomorrow at 7.30 am, Tamil Nadu and Haryana will play in the first semi final at Khuman Lampak Main stadium while Manipur will clash with Bihar in the second semi final at Artificial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak.
