Imphal, July 01 2015 : Little Angel Paradise School, Thoubal entered the semi-finals of the U-14 boys' Inter School Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament 2015 for Manipur, organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS), Khuman Lampak today at Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

In today's U-14 boy's Group-D league match, Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Ukhrul blanked Public English School, Jiribam by a margin of two goals to nil.

Makarmi HA and Yursing Honray slotted in the winning goals in the 47th and 50th minute respectively.

In another match today, Little Angel Paradise School, Thoubal booked a semi-final berth by defeating Poirou Khongjin HS, Imphal East via toss after both sides played out a 1-1 draw.

Th Nilakanta slammed home the winning goal in the 13th minute for the Thoubal side.

However, T Krishnakanth of Poirou Khongjin scored the equaliser in the 63rd minute.

Bijang Loubuk Jr HS, Churachandpur thrashed Comerstone Christian Academy, Senapati by a margin of 10 goals to one in a Group-B league match.

Mangmenthang alone banged in four goals in the 2nd, 21st, 51st and 57th minute followed by a treble from Joshua in the 15th, 50th and 54th minute and Amenlal (9th), Nensongthang (53rd) and Ginmulung (58th) scored a goal each for the winning team.

On the other hand, Samei was the lone scorer for the Senapati team.

In a Group-C league match, Keithelmanbi UJB School, Kangpokpi lost narrowly 1-2 to Don Bosco School, Tamenglong.

The match began with Dawang scoring an early goal in the 2nd minute followed by a goal in the 42nd minute through Gaishinrei to help Don Bosco take a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half.

Paotinsiam of UJB managed to pulled back a goal in the 59th minute.

In the U-17 boys' Group-D league match, Little Angel Paradise School, Thoubal downed Emmanuel HSS, Kangpokpi.

The winning goals for the Thoubal team were scored by N Sushilkumar (10th, 23rd) and Loyangamba in the 48th minute.

On the other side, Songpu gave one goal to Emmuanuel HSS.

In Group-A league match, Jiribam HSS, Jiribam was given a walkover after their opponent Oklong Govt HS, Senapati failed to produce their squad.

Afros-A HSS, Imphal East held Sacred Heart HSS, Ukhrul 1-1 in a Group-B league match.

In a Group-C league match, Hermon English School, Churachandpur humiliated Tamenglong HSS, Tamenglong by a margin of 7 goals to one.

Including a freak own goal from Lumei of Tamenglong HSS and four goals from Goulian Hangshing in the 22nd, 31st, 37th and 45th minute followed by a goal each from Henry (24th) and T Liansuanmang in the 52nd minute gave 7 goals to Hermon.

Kangkhing scored the solitary goal for Tamenglong in the 60th minute.
