State bag 13 Kungfu medals

Kungfu athletes of All Manipur Kungfu Brotherhood Union, Imphal who represented the State at 10th National Choi Kwang Do Championship at Jalgaon Maharashtra from December 24 to 29 bagged nine gold, one silver and three bronze medals in different weight categories, informed a Union release.
The gold medal winners are
S Rishikumar Meetei (12 yrs) of Mongsangei 44 Kg;
Poireinganba Meetei (11 yrs) of Langthabal 39-41 Kg;
S Malemnganba Meetei (9 yrs) of Ngaikhong Siphai 25 Kg;
S Lanchenba Meetei (10) of Langthabal 36 Kg;
A Robert Singh (11 yrs) of Langthabal 40 Kg;
S Rohit Meetei (19 yrs) of Langthabal 48 Kg;
Ch Ranjita Devi (14 yrs) of Phougakchao Ikhai 46kg;
O Raju (17 yrs) of Ngaikhong 54 kg; and
I Gipson (10 yrs) of Ngaikhong.
While S Rita Chanu (11 yrs) of Mongsangei secured the lone silver medal in 35 kg group, Kh Ronel Singh (14 yrs) of Thoubal, I Golson (8 yrs) of Ngaikhong and K Gender (8 yrs) of Ngaikhong settled for bronze medals in their respective categories.
S Rajeshor Meetei and Kh Ingocha Singh accompanied the team as coaches while N Ramananda and I Dhamendra Singh were the managers.
