Manipur beat Sikkim by 6 wickets in U-19 Men's Vinod Mankad Trophy

Manipur bounced back from their first-match loss to beat Sikkim by 6 wickets (VJD method) in the U-19 Men's Vinod Mankad Trophy 2021-22 on Wednesday at MECON Stadium, Ranchi.
After restricting Sikkim to 121/9 in 26 overs, the state side wrapped up their victory in 19.2 overs losing 4 wickets in the process as Jotin was unbeaten on 44 off 34 balls and Ulenyai remained not out on 23 from 33 balls.
Roger (18) was another key contributor for Manipur.
For Sikkim, Tarun Sharma claimed two wickets while Karma Wangchuk and Sajal Thapa took one each.
Earlier, Dominic was the pick of Manipur's bowlers.
He finished with three scalps in his 5-over spell.
Kalyan did his bit with two wickets as Jotin and Vevekananda added one apiece to help their side restrict their opponents to 121 for 9.Ankur, who scored an unbeaten 41 from 33 balls, emerged as the main run-getter for Sikkim.
In their campaign opener on Tuesday, Manipur suffered a 6-wicket loss to Nagaland as Suresh Singh's 80-run knock went in vain.
