CT Higher Secondary School and three other schools today made themselves into the last 4 round of the U-14 boys competition at the 60th District Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament organised District Youth Affairs and Sports Office, Imphal West at Astro Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak.
The inaugural function of the district level event was attended by Haokip, Deputy Director YAS; Y Bony, District Sports Officer, Imphal East and Neichung, District Sports Officer, Imphal West as dignitaries.
The first match of the U-14 boys competition held today saw Little Master English School beat Nilamani English School 1-0 to move into last 4 round.

The lone goal that fired Little Master English School into semi-final was scored by Kh Premjit in the 46th minute after both the teams failed to open up in the first half.
In the second match of the competition, Royal Academy eased to a 3-0 win against New Light Public School to set up semi-final date with Little Master English School on June 27 at 7 am.
All the three goals of Royal Academy was scored by L Dinar (9', 11', 30') .
Meanwhile in the third match, HRD rode on Bikram's brace to seal a 3-1 win against Holly King School.
Bikram opened up the scoring for HRD in the 12th minute of the match but Bony of Holly King managed to pull level in the 43rd minute.
HRD made their way back into the game in the 50th minute through Bikram before Avinash hit the decisive goal in the 51st minute.
In the last match (quarter final) of the day, CT Higher Secondary overwhelmed Haobam Marak Jr HS by 5-0 goals as N Ranjan hit thrice including the opening goal.
CT Higher Secondary and Haobam Marak Jr HS started the game cautiously but the former raced ahead in the 25th minute when N Ranjan found the back of the net.
N Ranjan continued his fine form and added another in the 31st minute before S Somesh connected to the team's third the very next minute.
The onslaught continued and N Ranjan completed his treble in the 35th minute while M Michael fired home the last goal in the 37th minute of the match.
CT HS will meet HRD in the semi-final on June 27 at 8.30 am .
