32nd State Thang-Ta Championship : Mangte Chanchan Kom wins gold for MMAA in sub-junior girls Phunaba Ani

Mangte Chanchan Kom of Manipur Martial Art Academy (MMAA) claimed the +53 kg category gold for sub-junior girls Phunaba Ani in the ongoing 32nd State Thang-Ta Championship being organised by the Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur at Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom.
Mangte Chanchan Kom got the better of W Henthoi of Ibudhou Thang-Ta, Moidangpok in the final today to earn the top honour as Ennilency Sorokhaibam of Kangleipak Royal Thang-Ta, Sagolband won the bronze medal.

Winning -53 kg category gold in the similar event was L Malvia Chanu of Kanglei Enat Thang-Ta Sindam Shang after she beat Sonia Akoijam of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang in the final today.
With Sonia settling for the silver medal, T Khusbu of Institute of Langol Punsiba Thang-Ta, Iroishemba who finished third bagged the bronze medal.
M Roniya Devi of Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta, Kangmong claimed the -49 kg category gold as Thounaojam Bafana of Indigenous Culture and Sports Academy (ICASA) won the silver and W Tamphasana of Manipur Martial Art Academy (MMAA) claimed the bronze medal.
In the U-45 kg final K Neha Devi of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang beat Anjelina Ningombam of Indigenous Culture & Sports Academy (ICASA) to clinch the gold.
Zingranhor Kham-rang of Haokok Thang-Ta, Hung-pung on the other hand claimed the bronze medal.
ICASA's N Lingjelthoibi Indigenous Culture & Sports Academy (ICASA) was able to win the U-41 kg category gold beating M of Thajamanbi Devi of Ibudhou Puthiba Thang-Ta, Awang Khunou while M Karuna Devi of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang won the bronze.
In the U-29 kg category final, H Roshini Devi of Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta, Kangmong beat W Alona Devi of Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta, Kangmong to secure the gold while S Dinaluxmi Devi of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok settled for the bronze medal.
The U-33 kg title went to Th Sandiyarani of Manipur Martial Art Academy (MMAA) who beat S Bijeta Devi of Kangleipak Royal Thang-Ta, Sagolband in the final today while L Langlen Chanu of Mangang Luwang Khuman Thang-Ta, Sugnu won the bronze.
Jyoti Sunar of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok was on the other hand clinched the U-37 kg category gold medal as W Korea Chanu of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok settled for the silver after losing to Jyoti in the final.
Jessica Yendrembam of Kangleipak Royal Thang-Ta, Sagolband finished third in the same category to win the bronze.
Meanwhile in the 21 kg category Phunaba Anisuba final for sub-junior boys, Ngachanhor Ch Shimray of Haokok Thang-Ta, Hung-pung overwhelmed L Simpinson Sharma of Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom to fetch the gold medal.
A Paikhomba of Luwang Meitei Nongsha Lallong Thang-Ta, Heigrujam was able to earn the bronze medal.
