10th Manipur State League TRUGPU beat ZFC; TRAU advance

TRUGPU, Nambol and TRAU, Kwakeithel advanced in the 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung,
Imphal.
In today's first match, TRUGPU, Nambol downed ZFC, Churachandpur by a margin of 3 goals to one.
TRUGPU witnessed their opening goal through N Rakesh in the 12th minute.
Minutes later Palmei Rambo added another goal in the 35th minute to help TRUGPU take a comfortable 2-0 lead against the Churachandpur side.

On the other side, SFC did not lose hope and fought back hard till Letminthang pulled back a goal in the 42nd minute making the scoreline 1-2 in the first half.
After the breather, a late strike from TRUGPU's H Jotin in the 82nd minute through a long cross from P Romesh sealed the match 3-1 in favour of TRUGPU.
Despite their win, TRUGPU witnessed five yellow cards through E Dayananda, Palmei Rambo, Th Sankar, P Romesh and Kh Jolly while Herohito was the lone player of ZFC who was yellow carded.
In another group match, TRAU, Kwakeithel blanked NACO, Nambulmapal by a margin of 2 goals to nil.
Including a penalty, A Heorjit of TRAU scored the winning goals in the 44th and 76th minute.
