NIVSO Cup: SSC-CSC, FUC-EUSC share days honours

SSC Sekta and CSC, Chanung; FUC, Uyumpok and EUSC, Tellou shared the honours of the day in the league match of 5th NIVSO Cup a District Level Men's Open Invitation Football Tournament being organized by The Northern Iril Valley Sports Organization (NIVSO) at Friend's Union Club (FUC) play ground Uyumpok on Saturday.
Today's matches were high intensity game and it was not for faint heart.
Match between SSC and CSC began with a bang when Munda provided the lead to CSC in 3rd minute of the match.
SSC came back with all their might to get the equalizer but CSC defenders stood solid and deny any goals.
At the first half CSC leads at 1-0 .
After change of ends, SSC did not lose heart and put more men in front to get the elusive goal.
When the match appears to move in favor of CSC Randhan produced a stunner that beats every one to found the back of CSC net in 40th min.
SSC supporters erupts in joy on Randhan's goal.
The crowd edge their respective teams to get the winner defenders of both the teams did not provide any scoring opportunities to their rival team.
The match ended evenly at 1-1 .
The second match between FUC and EUSC also rose to the occasion.
EUSC came from behind to snatch a point from FUC.
FUC open the account in 5th min through Rishikanta.
The lead was extended by Julet in 20th min.
On two goal lead, FUC supporters celebrated on the prospective of walking away with the match but EUSC did not wilted under the pressure.
Lalit gave EUSC the impetus to come back into the match by scoring a goal in 25th min.
The goal act as tonic to EUSC and pressed hard to get the equalizer after change of ends.
On sustained pressure from ESUC, FUC defenders lost concentration for a second which was lapped by Giten and converted into a goal in 50th min.
Giten's goal brought loud cheers from their supporters.
With the goals at 2-2 both the teams did not lose any territory and the match ended in 2-2 .
