AFC to hold Transformation Challenge

Imphal, July 13 2014:
With an objective to facilitate a society of wellness in the state, all preparations for conducting 4th Transformation Challenge 2014 to be organized by Apunba Fitness Centre (AFC), Imphal have been made.
Talking to media persons in this regard at the office of AFC situated at Nagamapal, RIMS Road here today, Yumnam Hemlet, managing director of AFC, appealed to the public to help the Centre in organizing the event successfully.
Hemlet said that AFC has been organizing the Transformation Challenge uninterruptedly for the past few years with the objective of facilitating a healthy society.
Cash prize amount of the championship has been increased from this year.
The championship will have two categories for men and women.
First, second and third position holder in women category will be given a sum of Rs.75,000, 50,000 and 30,000 respectively while an amount of Rs.10,000 and Rs 5,000 will be awarded to the fourth position and the fifth position holder respectively.
Winner of physically challenged category will be also awarded an amount of Rs.10,000 while winner of senior citizen category will be given Rs.10,000 .
First screening of the challenge will be conducted on 10th August, 2014 from 9 am to 1 pm at its Nagamapal office and the final screening would be done on 16th August, 2014 from 9 am to till 1 pm, and the Mega event for selecting the successful competitors would be held on 23rd November, 2014 at MFDC Hall.
Interested people may collect admission form and submit the same till 8th August, 2014 at its branch offices located at Nagamapal and Singjamei.
