U Dream scouts young footballers from Imphal

Imphal, June 13 2016:
The U Dream football programme in association with Bundesliga team TSG Hoffenheim is back in Imphal to identify the finest talent in the U-15 category.
The selected players will move on to a round of 30, winners of which will be offered a lifetime chance to play in Germany, which include facilities like indoor courts, a state of the art gym, a modern physiotherapy, study rooms and game rooms.
It consists of a Youth Development Centre, which comprises of high-quality turf pitches and includes all necessary components for the successful infrastructure of a modern football club.
The scouts from U Dream and TSG Hoffenheim will be in Imphal tomorrow at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex where 266 kids have registered for tryouts.
Last year, 6 students from the State had made it to the short-list.
Givson Moirangthem, Angelo Keisam and Mangilan Hemam from Okshongbong Birchandra High School; Joshidas Singh and Mohammed Abdul Salam from Kendirya Vidyalaya Loktak, and Dingku Sharma from Free Progress Academy had competed nationally for a chance to fulfil their football dream in Germany.
