State Level Polo Tournament MPSC-A,B, Teckcham enter QFs

Imphal, April 08 2015 : MPSC-B, Tekcham Polo Club-B and MPSC-A entered the quarter finals after defeating their opponents in the 31st State Level Polo Tournament, which resumed today after a halt due to heavy rains.

In the first match played at Imphal Polo Ground, MPSC-B thrashed Chingkheihunba Polo Club�B by a margin of 7 goals to nil.

The winning goals for the police team were scored by Abung Khuman (3), T Pradeep (2), Kh Nongpoknganba (1) and L Tarun (1) .

In another match, Tekcham Polo Club�B humiliated Thangmeiband Polo Club-B by a margin of 10 goals to nil.

S Ranjit (4), S Deva (2), Kh Tombi (2), S Ibohal (1) and S Dhaneshwor (1) scored for the Tekcham team.

In the third match of the day, ESC-A lost 2-9 against MPSC-A.S Bimol of MPSC-A alone banged in 8 goals while Kh Dinesh scored the ninth goal.

On the other hand, S Boynao and H Muhindro gave two goals to ESC-A .

Tomorrow in the quarter finals, Khurai Polo Club-A will clash with Chingkheihunba Polo Club-A, MPSC-C will meet Thoubal Polo Club-A, MPSC-B will face Khurai Polo Club-B and Tekcham Polo Club and MPSC-A will play the fourth quarter final match.
