U-17 Khelo India Women's Football : Ph Abema dazzles as AMMA blank PLL 5-0, KRYPHSA edge past WFA 3-2

KRYPHSA, Naoremthong sealed a 3-2 win against WFA, Kakching as Ph Abema led AMMA, Andro in 5-0 demolition of PLL, Churachandpur today at Mapal Kangjeibung in the ongoing U-17 Khelo India Women's League 2019.The tournament whose match days are fixed only on Saturday and Sunday is being organised by All Manipur Football Association in association with Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Altogether 8 teams are participating in the league tournament.
In the 9th match of the tournament staged today saw KRYPHSA dominate the opening half against WFA and scored all the three goals with L Bibicha starting the onslaught early in the 3rd minute of the match.
U Luxmi of WFA however managed to draw level in the 12th minute but KRYPHSA rallied back and regained the lead with Rumina Begum finding the target before L Babydoly stretched the lead further by two goals in the 35th minute.
After leading the first half 3-1, KRYPHSA slipped to defensive mode and made WFA, who have been without a point since the beginning of the tournament, to work more.
Rosy Thanga did found the target in the 59th minute and reduce the gap for WFA but their latter effort did not yield fruit and eventually KRYPHSA went home 3-2 and force the former to wait for next match to open up their account.
Meanwhile in a one side encounter staged latter on, AMMA trounced PLL by 5-0 goals.
Ph Abema shone in this match as she fired home four goals without any interruption (17', 52', 66', 71') after Ch Anjali had opened up the team's account in the 15th minute.
