6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship BIH hold ASH; RAJ, HCO, NAM, HJK win

Hockey Bihar (BIH) held Assam Hockey (ASH) 2-2 in today's Group-D match of the ongoing 6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship (B-Division), organised by the Hockey Manipur under the aegis of Hockey India, today at Hockey Ground, Khuman Lampak.
In today's first Group-D match, Arun Sahani (16th) and Manish Sahani (52nd) scored a goal each for Assam Hockey (ASH) while Hockey Bihar (BIH) witnessed their goals from Suleman Henry and Gulson Ekka in the 38th and 60th minute respectively.
Turtan Ming, Amrit Ekka and Vaibhav Mishra of BIH and ASH's Bhawani Sharma and Imanul H were cautioned for unsporting behaviours during the match.

In another Group-D match today, a brace from Rohtash in the 28th and 58th minute helped Hockey Rajashthan (RAJ) overcame Citizen Hockey XI (CXI) by a margin of 2 goals to one.
The lone goal of CXI was scored by Faig Alam in the 7th minute.
Sanjay Kumar Soni of CXI was booked for unsporting behaviour.
In the third Group-D match, Hockey Coorg (HCO outclassed Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSS) by a margin of 8 goals to one.
Sukalyam Mondal of HCO was the star player as he banged in four goals in the 22nd, 28th, 35th and 50th minute respectively while Dilan Mandepanda also hit a treble in the 5th, 33rd and 57th minute.
Rakesh also contributed a goal in the 51st minute for HCO.
On other hand, the solitary goal of MSS was found by Merven Perura in the 44th minute.
Karan Rai and Rakesh were cautioned during the match.
In the first Group-C match, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Hockey Association (DNHHA) were given a walkover win after their opponent did not turn up for the match.
In another Group-C match, Namdhari-XI (NAM) handed a 8-0 crushing defeat to Hockey Puducherry (PUD).
The winning goals of Namdhari were scored by Amritpal Singh (21st, 33rd, 50th), Akashdeep Singh (24th, 45th), Hanspal Singh (43rd), Jai Singh (10th) and Gurpreet Singh (12th).Mohan S and Manikandan were cautioned during the match.
In the last Group-C match today, Hockey Jammu & Kashmir (HJK) downed Hockey Mizoram (MIZ) by a margin of 3 goals to one.
Manik Sharma hit a treble in the 55th, 56th and 62nd minute respectively for the winning team while Lalhmangaiha netted the lone goal of Hockey Mizoram.
Prabjot Singh, Simranpal Singh of HJK and Lalhlempuia were booked for unsporting behaviour during the match.
