State eves registered a convincing win against West Bengal to advance in the ongoing 60th National School Games, 2014 (under-17 girls football), organised by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports under the aegis of School Games Federation of India at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal.
In the Pool-C league match today, Manipur blanked West Bengal by a margin of 9 goals to nil.
In the Pool-A league match, Madhya Pradesh outlasted CBSE 29-0 and in another Pool-A league match, Maharashtra blanked Chandigarh by a margin of 5 goals to nil.
Later, Chandigarh crushed Vidhya Bharat by a margin of 15 goals to nil and Maharashtra handed a outclassing defeat to CBSE by a huge margin of 21 goals to nil.
In the Pool-B league match, Karnataka and IPSC played out a 1-1 draw while Haryana defeated Gujarat by a margin of 8 goals to nil.
In another match of Pool-B, Haryana stunned Karnataka by a margin of 23 goals to nil.
Punjab beat Chattisgarh 2-0.Delhi defeated Andra Pradesh 7-0.Bihar balnked Gujarat 10-0 .
In Pool-C league match, Tamil Nadu swamped West Bengal 7-1 in another league match Tamil Nadu again registered a 2-0 win against Telangana.
Tomorrow, Manipur will play Telangana in the Pool-C league match at 9 am at Artificial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak.
