T20 Luwangpokpa Trophy TRAU tie match with FORCE, Cyclone win

Matching each other in every department of the game, the match between FORCE, Kshetrigao and TRAU, Kwakeithel ended in a tie with both teams managing to score 98 runs in the alloted 20 overs.
On winning the toss, FORCE opted to bat first and their batsmen got off to a quick start with some heavy hitting and fast running between the wickets.
Sadam of FORCE stood his ground and made an entertaining 49 runs off only 48 balls, but the tight bowling of TRAU ensured that the other batsmen were kept down.
Priyojit of TRAU was especially impressive scalping four wickets and he was ably assisted by Thomas who grabbed three wickets.
Raju also chipped in with one wicket.
With Sadam leading the way, the batsmen of FORCE managed to keep the score card ticking and lending him support was Isaluddin who made a sensible 23 runs off 32 balls.
Nazir also made a quick fire 10 runs off only 6 balls to help FORCE reach 98 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Set a target of 99 runs to win the match, TRAU started sensibly with the batsmen keeping the score board ticking.
Priyojit led the way in totalling 22 runs off 26 balls.
Tight bowling from all the bowlers of FORCE did not allow the batsmen of TRAU to open up and go after the attack.
Priyojit was assisted by Rinju who made 15 runs off 23 balls.
All the bowlers of FORCE found themselves among the wickets, with Khurshid, Rashid, Giyasuddin, Rashid bagging one wicket each.
The match was declared a tied match after both teams ended at 98 runs with FORCE first scoring 98 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and TRAU scoring 98 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
In another match Cyclone , Thangmeiband beat PTRC, Patsoi by 27 runs.
On winning the toss Cyclone opted to bat first and scored 104 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs with Narsingh leading the way with 28 runs off 40 balls.
In reply, PTRC were bowled out for 77 runs in 17.4 overs with Jempu of Cyclone grabbing four wickets.
Ronald followed with 3 wickets.
Jempu was declared the man of the match for his haul of 4 wickets.
