ICAR organises Fit India Freedom Run 2.0

To commemorate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 was flagged off from the Residential Complex of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), NEH Region by the Director Dr VK Mishra at 7.30 am today.
Addressing the gathering, he said that the concept of healthy lifestyle should be incorporated into the younger minds at a tender age, said a press release issued by the ICAR.
He highly appreciated the noble initiative taken up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make a healthy India.
A pledge was also taken by the participants to make effort towards a healthy lifestyle.
The institute also celebrated Hindi Ullas from September 14 to 30.Deepak Kumar, IPS, Director, NEPA graced the inaugural function.
Various competitions were organised like debate, extempore, noting writing competition, scientific articles presentation competition (through PPT) and one Hindi workshop was conducted to increase the usage of Hindi in day to day official communications.
The programme was observed under the chairmanship of Dr VK Mishra and conducted by RD Sharma, Deputy Director (OL), ICAR RC for NEH Region.
