10th Manipur State League NISA crush TRAU 3-0, ZFC hold AIM 1-1

Imphal, October 01 2015: NISA, Thangmeiband registered a comprehensive 3-0 win against TRAU, Kwakeithel while AIM, Khabam and ZFC, Churachandpur match ended in a 1-1 draw in the ongoing 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

In today's one sided match between NISA, Thangmeiband and TRAU, Kwakeithel, L Roshan banged in the opening goal in the 12th minute through a corner kick from K Phalguni.

The first half ended with NISA taking a 1-0 lead.

After the breather, TRAU players put their best foot forward to come back into the match.

However, Kh Shitaljit slammed home a goal against the run of play in the 74th minute through a loss cross from K Phalguni.

NISA witnessed their third goal coming from Kh Naoton in the additional 93rd minute making the final scoreline 3-0 against a hapless TRAU.

In another group match today, Ginminlun's strike in the 54th minute helped ZFC, Churachandpur hold AIM, Khabam 1-1 .

An N Boreesh Tuishim header in the 27th minute assisted by Mashangva helped AIM take a 1-0 lead against the Churachandpur side.

The ZFC players got opportunities to level the scoreline but all that ended in vain after AIM's Y Sobha committed a foul on G Ngulkhosim in the 37th minute.

The referee did not waste time to book Y Sobha for his unsporting behaviour.

The first half ended with AIM taking a 1-0 lead.

Minutes after the lemon break, Letminthang missed an opportunity and his effort went fruitless after AIM custodian S Basanta thwarted his strike.

However, Ginminlun swiftly came from behind and put the ball into the net in the 54th minute.

Both teams failed to find targets in remaining normal time and ended on a 1-1 tie.
