The JAC Against the Brutal Killing of Rajak
Khan has demanded punishment of the perpetrator(s) .
JAC convenor Md Ajijur Wangmayum, in a press meet
yesterday said Md Rajak Khan (30) of Mayang Imphal
Bengoon left home on June 19 after he received a call from
one Sanasam Noren.
Noren is the owner of the farm where Rajak Khan worked.
According to the JAC, Noren called Rajak to his farm on
June 19.The lifeless body of Razak was found the following
day some 20 metres away from Noren's farm located at
Imphal Konchak Yangbi Kangmanung.
His body bore visible wounds in the eye and an injury
mark on the neck, the JAC convenor stated.
Mayang Imphal police was informed by the family mem-
bers the same day.
"Noren must not have killed Razak alone and he must have
been accompanied by a person or more", JAC convenor Md
Ajijur said.
He appealed to the public to refrain from giving a commu-
nal colour to the case.
He has also urged the police to record
farm owner Noren's statement in the case and punish him as
per the law of the land.
