Assistance to Relief Committee
Assitance to Relief Committee, JNIMS continued to come in from benevolent individuals to help those injured in the pro-ILPS movement.
According to a statement, three individuals have donated three units of blood to Relief Committee, JNIMS yesterday.
The blood donors were Huidrom Basanta (24) s/o Itoba of Sekta Huidrom, Huidrom Sanathoi (21) s/o Kesho of Sekta Huidrom and Stephen (33) s/o Jotinkumar of Porompat DC Road.
Social service camp held
With an aim to promote cleanliness, a two-day non-residential social service camp was organised jointly by Lilong Young Social Service Union, Lilong Keithel Meira Paibi Lup, Lilong Nagar Panchayat and SYDA Lilong Santipur on August 9 and August 10.As part of the camp, participants conducted social service in surrounding areas of NH-102 and Lilong Keithel.
Medical camp
Indian Red Cross Society, manipur State Branch has organised a free medical camp at Chakpikarong on August 8 .
Around 100 flood-affected villagers were treated and given medicines.
