Local clubs urge CM to retain tech varsity at Takyel

Local clubs of Takyel area have urged
Chief Minister not to withdraw the decision of setting up a
technical university in Takyel.
Youth Progressive Club president K Ranjit said
that more than ten local clubs of Takyel area want the
State Government to set up the technical university in
Takyel.
If possible, the locals wish to provide required land
for construction of both ITI and technical university
in Takyel.
Moreover, there is a vast area of land in
Takyel Keirou Loukol which people could accommo-
date.
He added that local clubs including Heinoupok
Club, Moirang Hanuba Club and people of Takyel
Khongbal have also expressed their desire to allow the
construction of the university in Takyel.
