Development in the society remains stagnant because the people resorted to blame game, pointed out Nehginpao Kipgen, a US based researcher before adding that a blame game is responsible for the stagnation of development in the society as well as the nation.
The US based Kuki International Forum (KIF) General Secretary Nehginpao Kipgen advocated the above statement while interacting with the people of Sadar Hills during the one day seminar programme under the theme "Democratic Transition & Kuki Society" at District Council Hall, Kangpokpi yesterday.
The programme was organised by Sadar Hills Civil Organisations that comprise Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, KSO Sadar Hills and Sadar Hills Women Union.
When there is sincerity, honesty and faithfulness with an attitude of equal opportunities, equal rights, equal benefits towards the people on the part of the authority and confidence, thrust, cooperation with an attitude of faithfulness and patients as well towards the authority on the part of the people there will be no question of blame game and development will happen in the society automatically, said Nehginpao Kipgen.
Nehginpao Kipgen whose visit to the State draws remarkable attention particularly among the Kuki community, will leave the State in the early part of next month.
He would meet Kuki people residing at Shillong, Meghalaya and Guwahati, Assam before he returned to the US.
