United Mothers Organisation (UMO) has demanded that representatives of meira paibee or JAC be permitted to be present during recording of statements of accused persons and victim regarding the rape case of a student of TG Girls Higher Secondary School by the Court on May 27 .
Saying that the victim is still not able to come out of the mental trauma given by the incident, UMO president Sorojini Leima said that Government must be held responsible if anything happens to the victim inside the courtroom.
