EEVFAM closes office

Imphal, January 21 2017:
Extrajudicial Victims Families Association (EEVFAM) has informed that their temporary office at All Manipur Bar Association building, 2nd floor, Cheirap Court complex has been closed, conveyed a press release issued by Edina Yaikhom, secretary of EEVFAM.
In accordance with a decision of the Supreme Court, EEVFAM has been collecting data in respect of the list of 1528 persons who were allegedly killed by the police/paramilitary/army from 1979 to 2012 .
EEVFAM expressed gratitude to all the families and friends of the victims who have contacted the data collection centre and shared their painful stories and documents.
