Eye camp held

Imphal, October 14 2015:
Shija Eye Care Foundation in association with Rotary Club of Imphal organised a comprehensive eye camp at Thangmeiband Improvement Club premises today.
According to a statement, a total of 187 patients were examined for eye related problems.
23 cataract, 12 pterygium, 1 DCR (both eyes) and 1 chalazion were diagnosed during the camp.
Dr Noornika Kh and Dr Sarda Ch, consultant ophthalmologist along with supporting staff of SECF examined the patients.
Patients detected with eye related problems will be transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for corrective surgery tomorrow.
