Imphal, June 13 2017:
Manipur Domestic Workers' Movement Organisation observed World Day Against Child Labour at Manipur Press Club yesterday.
Speaking as the resource person, Deputy Labour Commissioner E Tomba said that if any individual forces children below the age of 14 years to work as labourers, he or she is liable to a fine of Rs 10,000 and three months in jail under the Child Labour Act.
