Imphal, December 08 2016:
Some school authorities of the State have been commercialising the form fill-up process for HSLC exam 2017, said All Manipur Students' Union.
In a statement, AMSU secretary general Manjit Sarangthem said that when people are suffering due to demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, some school authorities are charging Rs 400/500 extra for filling up the HSLC exam 2017 form.
Instead of building the academic career of the students, some school authorities have turned the schools into profit centres.
Extra amount of rupees charged by the school authorities should be returned within five days, he said.
If the instruction is ignored, respective school authority should be held for any untoward incident which may follow thereafter, the statement added.
