Imphal, April 22 2019:
Manipur Home Guard Employees Welfare Association (MHGEWA) has appealed the Chief Minister and concerned authorities to release the duty allowance of Home Guard personnel at the earliest.
A press release issued by MHGEWA's president Y Mangi Singh also claimed that the concerned authority doesn't follow the rule/Act while giving promotion to Home Guard personnel but give to someone of their choices.
Adding that the association will continue to take up legal actions until the demand is met, he urged all the personnel to work for the common goal and welfare of Home Guards.
