Imphal, July 30 2012:
A human trafficking prevention programme on minor girls for prostitution was held on July 28 which was organised by the Rural and Urban Upliftment Society, Palace Compound, Imphal under innovative scheme of Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi.
The inaugural function was graced by RK Nayansana, Chairperson, Manipur State Social Welfare Board; Yengkhom Keshorjit, Headmaster, NIG H/S, Chingmeirong; Karam Deban, assistant HM, NIGHS; and Yungkham Indrani, social worker as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively, a statement informed.
