Imphal, March 29:
Taking strong exception to the failure of the Government to take up repairing and development work of the Kaiphundai-Tousem road even as many precious lives have been lost in mishaps due to the deplorable condition of the road, the Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley has urged upon the Government to initiate repairing work of the road within April.
The student body informed that one Parilung of Aben village died in a mishap along the road on March 24.It warned that intense forms of agitation will be launched if the repairing work of the road is not initiated within April, reports our Jiri correspondent.
