Imphal, October 25 2010:
The KSO Saikul Block has appealed to all concerned not to make any monetary demand from vehicles and passengers travelling between Saikul and Imphal.
Speaking to media persons at Saikul today, KSO Saikul Block president Thongjalun Mate condemned the act of making demands from passenger vehicles plying between Imphal and Saikul by some unidentified armed persons.
He also appealed to all concerned to stop making demands from the transporters.
Meanwhile, the Imphal-Saikul Road Bus Owners' Association has appealed to the authority concerned to repair worn out portions of the road and also to fill up the depressed portions between Sagolmang and Leitanpokpi.
