Imphal, October 21 2019:
Federation of Haomee has urged the State to bring about an amicable solution to the issue concerning Anglo Kuki War on or before October 30, this year.
In a statement issued today, the federation said that some groups erected a memorial stone with a Chief Minister name on it at different villages by violating the objection order issued by the State Government.
It also said that the State Government willingness to declare a holiday and opening a memorial park in connection with the alleged Anglo Kuki War is very unfortunate as the very initiative might distort the history of Manipur.
Urging the State Government to book all individuals who violated the order issued by the Home Department as per the law of the land, the federation cautioned that unwanted eventuality may arise if the demands are not met.
