Imphal, November 19 2011:
Janta Dal (Secular), Manipur state unit has asserted that the proposal of 'Supra-state body' would not be legal and constitutional in the final considerations.
In a statement issued by its President and Ex-MP W Kulabidhu Singh, the state unit JD (S) observed that we have to see how far this proposal of 'supra-state body' would be feasible, legal and constitutional in the light of 'unity in diversity' of the Indian civilization, culture and traditions.
Kulabidhu also pointed out that so far no concrete proposal has been published or received from the government of India and Ministry of Home Affairs as yet, except from the 'Seven Sisters Post' and 'Asian Age' reports.
