Imphal, December 01 2022:
Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (South) on Thursday organised an awareness lecture on 'prevention, causes and diagnosis of AIDS' at border villages of Tuitam Khongkhai and Govajang to curb the spread of AIDS in remote areas on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
In a release, PRO IGAR (s) informed that the locals were educated on common misconceptions, stigma and biasness regarding the disease that fuels the trauma of AIDS patients.
The event saw exhilarating participation by the locals of the villages as it was attended by 30 villagers.
