Fraud woman remanded to police custody

Imphal, October 01 2021:
The Court of CJM Imphal West on Friday remanded a woman, who was caught collecting money from job seekers and also providing fake certificates and appointment orders, to 6 days in police custody.
The woman, identified as Moirangthem ongbi Pishak Devi of Mahabali Mamang, Palace Compound, was produced via online mode before the Court by a team of Imphal PS.
The IO of the case then made a prayer to the Court for extending the police remand period.
After listening to the report of the 10, the Court remanded Pishak to six days in police custody.
It further instructed for her to be produced before the Court
on October 6 .
