Imphal, October 06 2015:
Shija Eye Care Foundation in association with Kongpal Students' Welfare Club, Khurai Thongam Leikai organised a comprehensive eye camp at the premises of KSWC today.
A total of 167 patients were examined for eye related problems.
22 cataracts, 5 pterygium, 2 glaucoma, 2 diabetic retinopathy and 1 macular hole were diagnosed during the cam, according to a statement.
Dr Shailendra Y, consultant ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patients.
11 patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for corrective surgery today itself, it added.
