AR organises medical camp

Imphal, August 24 2014:
12 BIHAR of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) in collaboration with RIMS and ABBOTT India Ltd under the Military Civic Action Programme organised a free medical cum screening camp at Leimaram Government High School on August 24 .
The camp was inaugurated by Brig V T Mathew Commander 9 Sector Assam Rifles who highlighted that the medical care and health education is paramount to achieve the greater aim of nation building at the grass root level in remote areas.
Around 530 villagers benefited from the camp which included 202 males, 247 ladies and 81 children.
Specialist doctors from RIMS conducted a free medical examination.

IGAR (South) in its efforts for improvement of the region has been providing consistent support for upliftment of the populace, development of the village and improving the basic necessities.
Commander 9 Sector AR felicitated the Meira Paibis, Youth Club members, village elders and Headmaster of the village school and assured the populace of continued support from Army / Assam Rifles.
