Heavy vehicles banned

Imphal, May 21 2017:
Following sinking of a portion of lmphal-Dimapur highway at Lalmati, loaded heavy vehicles Have been banned from crossing the said portion.
This was conveyed by Surface Transport, Eco and Environment Society, Nagaland general secretary Bipin Sophie through the All Manipur Road Transport Drivers and Motor Workers Union.
Vehicles weighing over 40 tonnes have been banned from crossing the highway portion and the Nagaland Government has issued a notification to this effect.
