The Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch has earnestly appealed to all the concerned particularly patients' relatives not to resort to mob justice and violence in case an unfortunate death of a patient.
In a statement, Dr Ng Arunkumar Singh, State secretary, IMA, Manipur State Branch urged the people to let the authority concerned conduct an enquiry in order to establish facts.
One Laishram Ajit Singh (53) of Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai who was initially treated at JNIMS and passed away later after being admitted at Shija Hospital on September 13.It was alleged that the patient died due to negligence of the doctor, the statement said.
Extending solidarity to the bereaved family members, IMA, Manipur State Branch urged the individual(s) concerned not to provoke the doctor concerned until the authority concerned completes the
enquiry.
