Sankirtana Day greetings

Imphal, December 03 2021:
Chief Minister N Biren Singh has extended his greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of San-kirtana Day which falls on December 4.In his message, the CM stated that Sankirtana is the fourth Indian art form recognised by the UNESCO as 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' and informed that it establishes and reinforces relationships between the individual and the community through life-cycle ceremonies.
He further urged for the preservation and promotion of this rich art form.
Consumer Affairs Minister Th Satyabrata Singh also conveyed his warm greetings specially to the Vaishnava community.
