The village authorities of Thingba Khunou and its neighbouring villages have expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in the black topping work from Koide Biiso to Thingba Khunou under PMGSY.
The work was sanctioned on April 3, 2014 but the work is yet to be initiated, said a joint statement issued by chairmen of Thingba Khunou, Thingba Khullen, Chofii village and Oinam Hill village.
Road connecting Koide Biiso and Thingba Khunou is the shortest route for Reafii, Thingba Khullen, Thingba Khunou, Chofii, Oinam Hill, Ngamju and Laila to reach National Highway-2 .
Only Shaktiman truck can ply along the said road during the monsoon season.
Since 4 months, the villages have been cut off from other parts of the State.
