Imphal, June 28, 2010:
One of the most successful entrepreneurs of Manipur, the proprietor of Hotel Nirmala, Koijam Nilo has expired on June 25 at 9.15 am at Shija Hospitals.
He is survived by his wife K Bheigyabati, three sons and three daughters.
The 82 year-old successful businessman hailed from Uripok Khoisanam Leikai.
During 1971 Indo-Bangladesh war, when there was no one to supply fuel for the Indian army, he showed the courage by supplying fuel to the Indian Army.
Kalimai temple which is located at Moirangkhom was donated by the deceased.
He was the president of Petroleum Transporters' Association.
His contribution to various fields was also considerable.
Many people have condoled his death.
