Makhan Union decries

Imphal, September 26 2011:
The Makhan Area Union has strongly condemned the opening of four rounds of gunfire at the students of Chil Chil Tehological Seminary at Leikhampokpi village at about 1.15 pm of September 24 while the students were working in the field.
In a statement, the Union alleged that the gunmen asked the students to leave as the land does not belong to them.
Though no one was injured in the firing, the Union has nonetheless urged the Government to look into the matter and book the culprits.
