A Joint Committee formed by the staff, loanee and recurring/ saving deposit members of United Social Empowerment, a financial bank situated at RIMS road has accused the three founder of the firm of making off with a huge sum of money .
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, the joint committee's convenor, Laishram Bijaya accused the manager, Yumnam Samananda of Langmeidong Mayai Leikai, Kakching district along with his wife and assistant manager of the firm, Yumnam (o) Surbani and his younger brother and deputy manager Yumnam Lalit of robbing huge amounts of money from innocent people .
She alleged that the trio collected around Rs 5 crore from the people on the pretext of opening recurring/saving account and have gone into hiding after closing down the bank .
Bijaya appealed to all the CSOs and concerned organisations to offer all possible and help in bringing the trio to justice.
