Snake bite victim saved

Imphal, August 10 2017:
Jwalamukhi Battalion under the aegis of Senapati Brigade of Red Shield Division in its continuous efforts to provide aid and assistance to the local populace saved a snake bite victim namely Tangamliu (56) w/o Raisabou of Thonglang Atongba village, Kangpokpi district on August 7 .
A press release issued by PIB Defence said the victim was provided first aid by the medical team of Assam Rifles Battalion and was later evacuated to District Hospital Senapati .
The villagers and the family members expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the effort of the security forces for saving the life, it said.
