Congress MLAs leave for Delhi

Imphal, November 08 2021:
A team of Congress MLAs left for New Delhi today to discuss strategies for the Assembly election, which is due in the early party of 2022 with All India Congress Committee (AICC) leaders.
The Congress MLAs include former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi, CWC member Gaikhangam, MPCC working president K Meghachandra, Th Lokeshwar Singh and Fajur Rahim.
MPCC president N Loken Singh, on the other hand, is camping at New Delhi since yesterday (November 7) .
It is reported that the team will meet AICC leader Sonia Gandhi and also attend a meeting of CWC and CLP leaders to discuss poll strategies on Wednesday.
