IPAK's foundation day

Imphal, September 07 2016:
Indigenous Peoples Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) celebrated its 2nd foundation day at Keishampat Keisham Leikai today.
Speaking at the occasion, IPAK chairman Sapamcha Jadumani urged the public to collectively press the Government to enforce Bengal Eastern Frontier Act and protect indigenous people.
He observed that nobody must do anything which may divide people on ethnic lines.
IPAK vice-president Paokam Haokip said that Bengal Eastern Frontier Act (1872) is currently enforced in Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
IPAK vice-president VC Zimik Jonah also attended the function.
